Objectified
There’s a special screening of Objectified at Cinema 21 June 9 at 7 PM with the director, Gary Hustwit, in attendance for a post-screening Q & A. Tickets are still available and $20 unless you’re a student or member of AIGA or ISDA, in which case they’re $15.
The film, a documentary about “our complex relationship with manufactured objects and, by extension, the people who design them,” from the man who brought you the film, Helvetica, features designers like the Bouroullec brothers, Hella Jongerius, Mark Newsom, and Naoto Fukasawa, plus Paola Antonelli from the Museum of Modern Art, Andrew Blauvelt from the Walker Art Center and plenty more.
