A quick scan through Portland-based Etsy shops (something I’d recommend you do to find talented local artists) dropped this little before-and-after gem in my lap, from Etsy shop FauxKiss.

They’re pretty simple re-hab of plain stools, but I love the faux-wood and detailing. They’d be great for a breakfast bar, plus they’re great inspiration for your own how-to and before-and-after projects.
