Biz Lady Meet Up
DesignSponge came to Portland last night for a Biz Lady Meet Up at Design Within Reach. It was a huge group; Amy Ruppel, Sarah Chenven and Debbe Hamada shared fresh and inspiring information for entrepreneurial women and fledgling designers. If you missed the event, Grace of DS posted these really helpful goodies: her PR/Marketing notes, which are very helpful in pitching editors (like me! hint, hint) about your new products. Plus, there’s now a Portland Biz Lady web page for virtual meetings. Check ‘em out.

Thanks to all of you who turned out to make this such a successful event. We all picked up some useful information, whatever our role in the design community may be. There were over 200 ladies in attendance, and I can easily say this was the best snack assortment we’ve ever had at DWR!
