Pecha Kucha Night

This is short and sweet (and late in the day) but forgive me; we’re closing the March issue this week. But, I will be at Pecha Kucha Night tonight, and you should be, too (if you’re not at our Bright Lights discussion series, of course).

Pecha Kucha (translated from Japanese: “the sound of conversation”) is a great forum for young designers to show off their work. Each presenter is allowed to show 20 images of their best work, each shown for 20 seconds each. Short and sweet, just like this post.

Tonight, the event is at the Imago Theatre ballroom at SE 8th and Burnside. Doors open at 6:45; presenters begin at 7:20. Donations encouraged, sliding scale.

I’ll have a report about Pecha Kucha tomorrow, so be sure to look out for it.
