Virtual Window Shop: Satellite
Today’s clear skies notwithstanding, we are entering into the indoor season, when virtual windowshopping through the magic of the internet becomes increasingly attractive.
Rejuvenation, known for its reproduction period-appropriate lighting and hardware, not so long ago expanded its mid-century range and gave it its own name, Satellite, and beautiful website. The install photos are especially inspiring.
Top of wish list, because it reminds me of lamps in my grandma’s Santa Barbara house, is this Astro lamp. I need two.
And my little 40s house is suffering from a couple of ill-conceived short-term solutions that could be partially rectified with either the Orbis (at top) or perhaps this Skyport, but it may be too exuberant:
