The Furniture of Poul Kjærholm
Another great event, happening tonight:
The Sean Kelly Gallery, R Gallery and Gregory R. Miller & Co. have been joint exhibiting Structures and Surfaces: The Furniture of Poul Kjærholm and Selected Artwork since December and will show it through February 2.
Tonight, starting at 6 pm, author Michael Sherdian will talk and sign his book, The Furniture of Poul Kjærholm: Catalogue Raisonné at the Sean Kelly Gallery (528 W 29th St).
Kjærholm was a prolific Danish furniture, graphic and industrial designer, whose designs are in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art. This should be a great talk about Kjærholm’s impact on mid-century modern furniture design.
