Curious about what the future holds for the gigantic tract of land located between the Marquam and Ross Island Bridges? So is everyone.

The Schnitzer family generously gave 20 acres to OHSU in 2004. The land was worth more than $35 million at the time. The new land and the aerial tram enabled OHSU, Portland’s largest employer, to expand its hilltop campus to the waterfront, where the university has ambitious plans for tall towers a la South Waterfront.

There will be an Open House on the OHSU Schnitzer Campus plans, Tuesday 4/29 4-6pm in the Kirk Conference Center (3rd floor) at the Center for Health and Healing in the South Waterfront district at SW Gibbs and Moody. Be there.
